About Us
Colorado Microcircuits' primary specialty is highly automated contract assembly of microwave and RF semiconductors in the United States, producing manufacturing volumes ranging from thousands to millions. “Our niche is innovative air cavity packaging, and we have become a key assembly partner for many of the industry leaders in the RF and microwave market”
Colorado Microcircuits (CMI) offers assembly of single and multi-die components using off-the-shelf or custom packages, including ceramic, air cavity lead frames, overmold lead frames, and high-performance laminates. Assembly options include mixed assembly of IC's and surface mount components, high thermal conductivity epoxies, short/tuned/stacked wires, and stacked die. We recently added GGI flip chip and have a robust mixed assembly process.
We aim to provide turnkey solutions for customers' unique requirements and maintain close communication to ensure short production lead times. Located within a few hours of any US customer, CMI is a great source for clients needing an onshore partner for commercial volumes and competitive pricing.
We have a custom-built facility located in Loveland, CO that utilizes industry-standard automated semiconductor assembly equipment and is ISO 9001 compliant. As a high-volume onshore supplier, CMI can mitigate geopolitical supply chain risks.
